What is covered

Every OCP part is free from defects in material and workmanship and matches its published specification — dimensions, thread, bypass valve and filtration rating — for 12 months from delivery, or until it reaches its stated service life if that comes first.

OCP lubricants match their technical data sheet on delivery.

Machine protection

If a defect in an OCP part damages your compressor, we pay for the repair: parts and labour, at reasonable cost.

It applies when the part was right for the machine, fitted following the maker's instructions and changed on time. Production loss and downtime are not covered.

The right part

When we confirm a part number for your machine in writing, we stand behind it. If it does not fit, we exchange it free of charge, shipping included. This does not apply when you choose the part yourself, for example from the search on this site.

Not covered
  • Normal wear at the end of the service life
  • Incorrect fitting, outside contamination, unsuitable or mixed oils
  • Operation outside the compressor maker's limits
  • Modified parts, and parts not bought from OCP or an authorised OCP distributor

Will OCP parts void my compressor's warranty?

Your compressor's warranty is a contract between you and its maker, so its conditions decide. Some makers' extended-warranty programmes require genuine parts and oil while they run: if your machine is in one, follow its rules until it ends. Outside such a programme the choice of parts is yours, and if a defective OCP part damages your compressor, our machine protection covers the repair.

Behind the warranty

Traceable parts

Every OCP part ships in a box labelled with its OCP code, so each one can be traced.

Made to meet or exceed OEM specifications

Produced under the OCP and Keltec brands. OCP combines compressor-filtration experience dating back to 1974 with manufacturing relationships developed through decades in the Keltec ecosystem.

Stock in the Netherlands

We ship from our warehouse in Zwaag, so a replacement does not wait for a container.

One contact

Claims go to the same team that quoted your parts.

Selling OCP parts?

Your customers get this same warranty, and they can claim through you or directly with us. In your distribution agreement we put the rest in writing: replacement first, the analysis on us, and one contact for every claim.

Warranty policy — full text

The full text below is the version that applies. Version 1.0, in force since 9 October 2026.

OCP Warranty Policy

1. Scope

This Warranty Policy applies to OCP- and Keltec-branded parts and lubricants (“Products”) that OCP Europe B.V. (“OCP”) sells to business customers, directly or through an authorised OCP distributor. It is a commercial warranty: it adds to, and does not limit, any rights the customer has under applicable law.

2. What OCP warrants

  • Each Product is free from defects in material and workmanship and conforms to its published specification (dimensions, thread, bypass valve setting and filtration rating) for 12 months from delivery to the customer who uses or installs it, and in any event for no longer than 24 months from dispatch by OCP.
  • For a filter, separator or other part with a service life, the warranty ends when that service life is reached, if this comes first. The service life is the one OCP states for the part or, where OCP states none, the compressor manufacturer’s replacement interval for the original part. Service-life figures are estimates of normal operation: reaching them is not itself warranted.
  • Lubricants are warranted to conform to their technical data sheet on delivery.

3. Machine protection

If a defect covered by Section 2 directly causes damage to the compressor in which the Product was installed, OCP pays the reasonable cost of repairing that damage, parts and labour included, up to €100,000 per incident. All damage arising from the same defect counts as one incident.

Machine protection applies when:

  • the Product was the correct part for the compressor, according to the compressor manufacturer’s documentation or a part number confirmed in writing by OCP;
  • it was installed by a competent person following the manufacturer’s instructions;
  • it was replaced within its replacement interval, and the compressor was operated within the manufacturer’s limits and maintained according to its maintenance schedule;
  • OCP was notified before the repair, unless an emergency made this impossible, and was given the opportunity to inspect the compressor and the failed Product;
  • the failed Product and, where relevant, an oil sample are kept available for analysis.

Machine protection does not cover loss of production, downtime, loss of profit or any other indirect or consequential loss.

4. Part numbers confirmed by OCP

Where OCP confirms in writing that a Product replaces a given original part number in a given compressor, OCP warrants that confirmation. If the Product does not fit or does not function in that compressor, OCP exchanges it free of charge, shipping included, and Section 3 applies to any damage it causes. This Section does not apply where the customer chose the Product on its own, without such written confirmation, including from the cross-reference information on Compressor Parts Finder, which is for reference only (Article 12 of OCP’s General Terms and Conditions of Sale).

5. Exclusions

Sections 2 to 4 do not cover:

  • normal wear, including a part that has reached the end of its replacement interval;
  • damage caused by incorrect installation, contamination from outside the Product, unsuitable or mixed lubricants, or operation outside the compressor manufacturer’s limits;
  • Products that were modified, repaired or improperly stored;
  • transport damage, which is handled under OCP’s Return Policy;
  • Products not bought from OCP or an authorised OCP distributor.

6. How to claim

  • Notify OCP in writing at support@ocpeurope.com, or the authorised distributor who sold the Product, within 30 days of discovering the defect and within the warranty period.
  • Include the order or invoice number, the OCP code on the Product or its box, the compressor make, model and serial number, the running hours at installation and at failure, a description and photos.
  • OCP answers within one business day (Monday to Friday, excluding Dutch public holidays). If a replacement is in stock, it is dispatched within one business day.
  • OCP may ask for the failed Product. OCP pays the shipping of any Product it asks to be returned and sends a written analysis within 10 business days of receiving it.
  • Claims for the Product itself of up to €500 are settled on the basis of photos, without return.

7. Remedies

For a valid claim under Section 2, OCP replaces the Product free of charge, shipping included, or credits or refunds the price paid, at OCP’s choice. Section 3 applies in addition where its conditions are met.

8. Distributors

Customers who bought from an authorised OCP distributor may claim through that distributor or directly with OCP. OCP’s commitments to the distributor itself are set out in the distribution agreement.

9. Relationship with the General Terms

This Warranty Policy forms part of every sale of Products by OCP. Where it is more favourable to the customer than Articles 7, 8 or 12 of OCP’s General Terms and Conditions of Sale, this Policy applies. In all other respects the General Terms apply, including the governing law and the competent court set out in Article 14.
