Privacy policy

OCP Europe B.V. operates this site and is the controller of the data described here. Questions: sales@ocpeurope.com.

• Your account: name, company, e-mail, country, VAT number, billing and delivery address, phone (asked at the first order). To review the account and to fulfil orders.
• The VAT check: the outcome of the VIES lookup and the name and address the registry returned. To apply the right VAT treatment.
• Your cart, your saved parts and your orders, including the part number you searched to reach each line. To process the order and to show you your history.
• Search terms, the part they resolved to and the result count. If you are signed in, the search is linked to your account; if you are not, it is stored with no identity. To improve the catalogue and to understand what our customers are looking for.
• Invoices and price lists from our accounting system, when your account is linked to an existing customer record. To show you your prices and your invoices.
• Technical submissions you send us (files, part numbers, message). To answer them.
• How many searches come from each origin: your account when you are signed in with an approved account, otherwise a salted, one-way hash of your network address — the address itself is not stored. Kept for at most eight days. To keep the search available to everyone and to limit automated use of it.

Supabase (database, authentication, files), Vercel (hosting), Resend (e-mail), Cloudflare Turnstile (bot protection on sign-in and sign-up), Exact Online (accounting). Each processes data under its own agreement with us; none of them sells it.

Account data as long as the account exists. Orders and invoices as long as tax law requires. Search logs are aggregated and the raw entries are kept for at most one year. Search-rate counters for at most eight days.

You can see and correct your profile in your account. To receive a copy of your data, to change your e-mail address or to delete your account, write to sales@ocpeurope.com; we answer within a month. You can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
